Located just two blocks from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, in historic Federal Hill, Light Street is one of the youngest congregations in Baltimore Presbytery, attracting young adults in their 20s and 30s.  We are a multicultural congregation with more than 20% people of color (African Americans & Caribbean Americans).  We are a More Light Church and an Earth Care Congregation.  Light Street’s mission includes support for 12-Step programs (currently Debtors Anonymous), the House of Ruth (serving victims of domestic violence), Baltimore Station (residential treatment program for men recovering from addictions), and our sister church in Cuba.

We worship every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m.  Children are welcome in worship and are invited to play quietly with supervision in the rear play area of the sanctuary.  A fellowship hour follows the service.

On the first Sunday of every month, we break bread together – celebrating the sacrament of communion (to which all are welcome) and sharing a potluck lunch after worship (to which all are invited).  Please join us!

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you’re always welcome at Light Street Presbyterian Church!
